Marcum LLP’s Anthony Scillia Named Honorary Walter Camp Football Foundation Board Member
New Haven, CT – Anthony P. Scillia, Partner-In-Charge of the New England Region for Marcum LLP, has been named a lifetime Honorary Board Member of the Walter Camp Football Foundation. Mr. Scillia and Marcum, a top national accounting and advisory firm, have provided extensive professional and financial support to the foundation for over 20 years.
The Walter Camp Football Foundation is an all-volunteer organization that honors outstanding college scholar-athletes; selects and fields the sport’s oldest All-America College Football Team; and provides financial support to multiple charitable and youth-oriented organizations throughout the New Haven, Conn., region.
Mr. Scillia was installed at the Foundation’s annual Alumni Association Meeting and Media Conference on January 11, during Walter Camp Weekend. The weekend also included the annual Walter Camp National Awards dinner at Yale University, as well as player visits to area hospitals, an interactive “fanfest,” a “stay in school” rally and other community events.
