About Bradley

Brad Currey is a director in Marcum’s Valuation Services practice, based in Dallas, Texas. Brad specializes in performing asset and business enterprise valuations for a variety of purposes, including mergers & acquisitions, financial reporting, tax reporting, litigation, bankruptcy, portfolio valuation, and corporate planning.

While Brad has delivered hundreds of valuations across a variety of industry sectors, he has deep knowledge in energy, private equity, and mining. Assets valued have included oil and gas mineral interests, conventional and renewable power facilities, power purchase agreements and tolls, common and preferred equity interests, loans and credit facilities, operating leases, and mining offtake agreements.

Certified in Intangible and Entity Valuations (CEIV), Brad is skilled in appraising customer relationships, power purchase and other offtake agreements, tradenames and trademarks, know-how, non-compete arrangements, and technology and software. He is also well-versed in providing positive assurance and a range of value analyses for options, derivatives, credit facilities, and preferred equity investments for clients in the private equity and hedge fund sectors.

Prior to joining Marcum, Brad worked for a global valuation firm. His previous experience includes a global investment management firm and a multinational investment bank.
