About Jodi

Jodi Lauron is a partner in Marcum’s Alternative Investment Group, responsible for advising clients on the formation and operation of investment funds. She specializes in financial statement audit engagements of funds and investment advisors, as well as custody and performance examinations. She provides guidance on fair value measurements, revenue recognition, and financial reporting matters, advising clients from the startup phase through the life of the fund.

Jodi assists in the Firm’s Alternative Investment Group’s administration and policy setting and co-heads the group’s training program. She develops the program’s curriculum and serves as an instructor. She also assists the Firm with its recruitment efforts.

Jodi began her career at regional and national accounting firms before becoming controller of a hedge fund.
