About Mary Jo

Mary Jo Dolson is a partner in the Tax and Business Services group. Mary Jo has been living and breathing state and local taxes her entire career. She has over thirty years of experience in SALT and has worked in industry and public accounting, so understands the constraints clients have in addressing state and local tax issues.

Her involvement in SALT covers all aspects of state and local taxes – income tax, payroll tax, sales/use tax, and unclaimed funds. With experience gained both while in industry and public accounting, Mary Jo has likely handled SALT issues involving every state.

Mary Jo is often a speaker for the OSCPA and other outside organizations. She is also often an author of blogs and articles on different SALT issues both for the Firm and other outside trade organizations. Mary Jo’s experience covers all industry types from the typical manufacturer to SaaS providers.
