About Michele

Michele Spence is a partner in the Tax & Business Services group in the Firm’s Long Wharf Drive office in New Haven, Connecticut. She brings more than 33 years of experience in public accounting, serving companies in a diverse range of industries as well as high net worth individuals. She is responsible for review and compilation financial statement engagements, income tax compliance, tax planning, and consulting for private companies and individuals.

Her industry experience includes, but is not limited to, professional services, real estate and development, transportation, employee stock ownership plans, wholesale distribution, retail, and manufacturing.

Michele has been an instructor for seminars on topics in public accounting, including quality review, auditing and accounting standards updates, understanding personal property taxes, small business tax issues, how to start a small business in Connecticut, succession planning, and job interviewing techniques.
