About William

William Stetter is a managing director within the Firm’s Financial Accounting & Advisory Services group. William provides CFO consulting services and has more than 25 years of experience delivering superior financial leadership to early-stage, emerging, and mid-sized companies. He has significant experience positioning businesses for successful exits, restructuring underperforming businesses, advising on turnarounds, and performing M&A activities (both buy and sell sides) in the medical device, software, services and technology sectors.

William is highly skilled at establishing relevant metrics and financial reporting to drive business growth and profitability, and he has also led implementations of ERP systems that provided actionable financial and operational information and optimized transaction processing. He has served as CFO of several privately-held businesses and as a consulting fractional CFO for a variety of smaller businesses and early-stage VC-backed companies.

William earned his Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance at the NYU Stern School of Business and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Fordham University. He also began his professional career with a Big Four accounting firm.
