Megan M. Budd is a director in the Firm’s Hartford, Connecticut office and has 18 years of experience managing, conducting, reviewing and analyzing financial information for healthcare and nonprofit companies as well as employee benefit plans.

Ms. Budd’s extensive background includes financial statement audits; state and federal compliance audits, including Uniform Guidance, accounting and reporting assistance and regulatory matters. She specializes in working with healthcare providers including hospitals, nursing homes, home health and hospice agencies and community based health centers, among others. In addition, She has experience providing assurance services to nonprofit organizations and guidance to clients ranging from complex accounting issues to general business matters. Ms. Budd is actively involved with in-house training for staff as well and participates in speaking engagements with various organizations on auditing and financial reporting.

Ms. Budd is actively involved in the Healthcare Financial Management Association, for which she is a past President of the Connecticut Chapter and the incoming Regional Executive for Region 1.
