The Marcum Women’s Initiative was created to empower and uplift the women of our Firm, in business, and the communities we serve.

Our national and local initiatives foster connections and shared experiences, and support people on their unique journeys. By motivating, advancing, and rewarding women at all stages of their careers, we can advance an inclusive environment that serves as a catalyst for inspiration and innovation.

The mission of the Marcum Women’s Initiative promotes a supportive and inclusive environment within the organization and the broader community.

“Every woman's success should be an inspiration to another. We’re strongest when we cheer each other on.”

- Serena Williams

The Marcum Women’s Initiative provides:

Business Opportunities

Diverse teams ignite unparalleled innovation. By diversifying our group dynamics, we introduce fresh perspectives and creative ideas. This approach equips us to excel in different markets and pinpoint new business ventures, paving the way for a future of unique opportunities.

Networking

Help bridge gaps and promote unity. Our initiative offers a platform where women from various experiences and skills can unite, fostering professional and personal growth through expanding their networks and brand. These networking opportunities are essential for women at any point in their career path, aiding in their development into respected and sought-after business consultants.

Professional Development

Empowerment begins with growth. From building confidence and navigating gender biases to embracing the invaluable lessons from mentorship, our program emphasizes holistic professional and personal development. It’s more than just growth — it’s about flourishing in the right environment.

An Open Forum

Every voice matters. Our open forum allows women to share and reflect on their personal and professional journeys — a space built from mutual respect, shared vision, and camaraderie. Here, every member is valued, every idea celebrated, and every background honored. Together, we are stronger.

One Mission

The Women’s Initiative aims to grow a community that fosters women’s development and success, both within the Firm and in our larger communities.

External Women’s Network

The Marcum Women’s Initiative group hosts regional events to unite women of all backgrounds, providing a safe and exciting space to network, share their stories, and exchange ideas. External events include panel discussions, conference seminars featuring women leaders, and fun gatherings that connect attendees and build powerful relationships.

While many of our events are women-focused, we work hard to provide inclusive programming that anyone, regardless of gender, can attend and learn from.

The Women’s Initiative also comes together annually to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8 by providing a forum for inspirational leaders to share their stories and empower others to make change and be who they are.

Marcum Women's Forum

The Marcum Women’s Forum, geared towards impactful women leaders from across the business and nonprofit spectrum, is an annual event that features panel discussions and keynote speakers focused on women’s health and representation.
