The Contractor Compensation Quarterly (CCQ) is especially designed for the busy construction executive that needs to keep abreast of competitive compensation and benefit levels within the industry.
As the industry adjusted to the pandemic, we felt the effects on our survey collection in May. Participation was off by a third and the mix of companies changed. Overall (all crafts combined), the actual change in pay was roughly 1%. Though there were more positive increases in those high-in-demand positions such as electricians, pipefitters, laborers, and heavy equipment operators, most other crafts were flat.
