No right-thinking person would knowingly allow either the ‘cliff’ or the issue of honoring one’s debts to be in as much disarray as we have seen recently. To successfully conduct business, create jobs and grow our economy, these issues must be resolved, preferably once and for all, well in advance of the current deadlines. Our two political parties need to find a way to govern more and bicker less.
