About Fred

Fred Campos is a partner in the Advisory Services Division of Marcum and serves as the Firm’s Transaction Advisory Services Leader for the Southeast region. He has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. Throughout his career, Fred has executed on more than 250 transactions (buy- and sell-side) that ranged in purchase price from $15 million to more than $1 billion.

Fred has led inbound and outbound cross-border transactions between the United States and countries throughout Latin America. He provides advisory services to strategic and private equity clients on domestic and cross-border transactions.

Prior to joining Marcum, he founded and led a boutique advisory services firm focused on mergers & acquisitions and exit readiness. Earlier in his career, he led the regional transaction practice for a top-tier public accounting firm and established a transaction practice for another where he also led their Latin America practice. He began his career with a “Big Four” firm where he spent a year living in Chile.

Fred is a frequent speaker at local and national conferences and has been quoted by the Wall Street Journal regarding his insights into the Brazilian M&A market.
