Lyle Kotler is a tax partner in the Firm’s Alternative Investment Group and works closely with private equity, various hedge fund and investment partnership clients on projects involving tax compliance and consulting.
Mr. Kotler is responsible for reviewing federal tax returns, related state and local tax returns, and other international compliance forms for private equity funds, hedge funds, management companies and other similar entities.
Mr. Kotler has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, specializing in the alternative investment industry. Before joining the firm in 2005, he gained experience at a “Big 4” firm. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), where he is a member of the Taxation of Financial Instruments and Transactions Committee.
