Patricia Giarratano is a tax principal at Marcum, where she counsels families, owners of closely held businesses, and high net worth individuals concerning various tax matters; gift, trusts, and estates planning; and compliance. In serving her clients, Patricia leverages more than 20 years of experience delivering advice on tax planning and compliance strategies. Patricia is deeply familiar with complications relating to gift, estate and income tax returns – whether for trusts and estates, individuals, or partnerships – and regularly consults on niche topics like generation skipping, transfer tax, asset protection, insurance structuring, and wealth-transfer planning.
Prior to joining Marcum, Patricia worked for regional and national CPA firms in the Northeast U.S. and Florida. She has authored articles on estate planning and insurance structuring, among other issues affecting high net worth individuals.
