About Rebecca
Rebecca Gamsby is an audit director for Marcum’s Wakefield, MA office.
Rebecca Gamsby has over 10 years of municipal audit experience, which began in 2011. She has spent her accounting and auditing career involved with New England municipalities, school districts, retirement systems, and other governmental entities.
Rebecca has a proven track record in assisting clients with the preparation and submission of Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports (ACFRs) to the Government Finance Officers Association for the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting Award program.
Prior to Joining Marcum, Rebecca was a manager at Powers & Sullivan, LLC in Wakefield, MA and joined Marcum through a 2024 merger. While there, she was part of the team that established auditing procedures and an in-house instructor for general government auditing requirements
