About Steven
Steven Scheel is office managing partner of Marcum’s Novi, MI and Boca Raton, FL offices, and has nearly 20 years of experience in public accounting. His chief responsibilities include leading firm practice areas serving charter schools and consulting clients, as well as providing third-party administration services. Steve started his professional career in the mortgage industry before beginning his public accounting career at a firm in Livonia, Michigan while working toward his MBA. Steve earned his license in Michigan in 2010 and went on to earn a Florida license in 2023. He works across industries to serve clients based in both Michigan and Florida.
Since 2018, Steve has been a member of the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association. He currently serves on the association’s State Board of Directors and has held various roles in the organization providing financial guidance and support to the organization and its members alike.
Prior to joining Marcum, Steven was a Partner of Croskey Lanni, PC, which merged with Marcum in 2024.
