About Yash

Yash Parmar is a Director in the Assurance Services Division of the Firm’s Philadelphia office. He serves as a key leader of Marcum’s Mid-Atlantic Capital Markets Group. Mr. Parmar has over twenty years of diverse assurance experience conducting internal control and financial statement audits of small- to large-size clients within a variety of industries, including information technology, manufacturing, retail, media, energy, utilities, and not-for-profit organizations. He has also worked on initial public offerings, including providing comfort letters to the underwriters.

Prior to joining Marcum, Mr. Parmar spent over six years as an inspector with the PCAOB, as part of their Global Network Firm program, reviewing Big-4 public accounting firms’ quality controls and compliance with the auditing standards issued by the PCAOB. He also has 14 years of Big 4 auditing experience, where he provided internal consultations related to several topics including revenue recognition, debt/equity, and inventory.

In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, he is also a Chartered Accountant in India.
