Jane Brooks Horn is a partner-in-charge of the Tax and Business Services Division in the Firm’s Washington, DC Metropolitan Area offices. Ms. Horn came to Marcum via the Firm’s merger with Raffa, P.C., one of the nation’s preeminent public accounting and business consulting firms.

She has more than 35 years of diversified public accounting experience. Ms. Horn works primarily with entrepreneurs and their business entities, providing consulting services on issues such as federal, state and local tax compliance, international tax matters, mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations, entity selection, and transaction structuring. Her clients include manufacturing, retail, software, real estate and construction, high tech, professional services and private equity fund entities.

Ms. Horn advises business owners on short and long-term business and personal financial planning, as well as estate planning that facilitates the orderly transfer of assets to beneficiaries and helps reduce or eliminate taxes
