Matthew Weiler is a partner in Marcum’s Assurance Services practice, leveraging thirteen years of audit experience. He is responsible for planning, organizing, administering, and managing all phases of financial and operational engagements for middle market, publicly listed companies, and private companies. These engagements include audits, reviews, consents for registration statements, IPOs, comfort letters, etc.

Matthew serves clients in several industries, including technology, biotech and life sciences, financial services, real estate, and professional services. He has extensive experience managing audit and consulting engagements for hedge and private equity funds. Matthew also works with clients in numerous other industries, including retail, distribution, and manufacturing.

Matthew’s practice centers on financial valuation-related audit areas, including fair value measurement in accordance with ASC 820. He has experience assisting with numerous consulting engagements, many of which are valuation-related.

Matthew assisted in developing Marcum’s national audit best practices manual and has led national technical trainings.
