About Michael

Michael McShea is a director in the Financial Accounting and Advisory Services (FAAS) Practice with 30 years of experience providing internal audit and business advisory services to large and middle market, multi-national public and private enterprises within a variety of industries, including financial services, manufacturing, distribution, consumer business, life sciences and healthcare.

Mr. McShea has extensive experience in Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 readiness including corporate governance assessments and trainings, implementation and compliance testing and reporting. He has also assisted in development of operational, financial and enterprise-wide risk assessments and internal audit plan development and execution.

Mr. McShea also has experience in coordinating with executive management, internal and external auditors and business process owners, ways to identify and effectively test controls, as well as identifying process and control areas for improvement. He has interacted at all levels of executive management and presented numerous topics and trainings to boards and audit committees.

Mr. McShea recently served as a director in risk advisory services at a “Big 4” accounting firm in Boston, providing advisory services to a variety of regional, national and large global clients.
