About Patrick

Patrick Gordon is general counsel at Marcum. He oversees and advises on all internal and external legal matters involving the Firm, including risk management, operations, M&A, labor and employment, and regulatory issues. Patrick also manages all litigation involving the Firm, including administrative and enforcement proceedings, regulatory proceedings, and civil matters. In addition, he serves on the Firm’s Executive Committee.

Before joining Marcum, Patrick was deputy general counsel at Gerson Lehrman Group, Inc. As an associate at Morvillo, Abramowitz, Grand, Iason, Anello & Bohrer, P.C., he represented corporate and individual clients in complex commercial litigation, internal investigations, regulatory matters, and indicted criminal cases. Earlier in his career, Patrick was a litigation associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph M. McLaughlin, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Patrick earned his Juris Doctor (magna cum laude) from St. John’s University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.
