Marie Middleton is a director based out of the San Francisco office specializing in corporate taxation. Marie serves multinational and middle-market clients, both publicly and privately held, with a focus in consumer products, media & entertainment, technology, biotechnology & biopharmaceutical industries. Marie has experience with federal and state income tax compliance and consulting, including entity structuring and formation, mergers and acquisitions, and changes of accounting methods. Marie has more specialized knowledge of ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes), Subchapter C, and international tax. She works with companies in the start-up phase as well as more mature companies.

Prior to joining Marcum, Marie worked at other Big Four and national accounting firms.
