About Stanley

Stanley Farmer is an Assurance Services partner in the Firm’s Houston, Texas, office. He has more than 28 years of progressive professional financial management experience, including extensive technical accounting expertise within the energy industry, encompassing exploration and production, offshore drilling, oilfield waste management, water resource management, energy technology, and construction.

Mr. Farmer is skilled in public and private company audits and is well-versed in the required statements for the SEC, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and registration statements. He has also served as chief financial officer (CFO) at a publicly traded energy technology company and as chief accounting officer (CAO) at a publicly traded exploration and production company. He started his career at two of the “Big Eight” accounting firms, ultimately advancing to senior audit manager, and later was an audit partner at a Houston-based CPA firm focused on public company clients.

Prior to joining Marcum, Mr. Farmer was division controller for the Water Resources and Mineral Services divisions of a sustainable exploration solutions company.
