About Ulises

Ulises Ruiz is a Tax principal at Marcum and a member of the Firm’s International Tax practice. Ulises has nearly 25 years of experience assisting large multinationals, small and medium-sized businesses, and individuals navigate tax planning and compliance issues spanning multiple international jurisdictions.

Over the course of his career, Ulises has served many of the most recognizable brands in technology and telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, private equity, consumer products, and manufacturing.

Prior to joining Marcum, Ulises held senior roles at two Big 4 accounting firms. He also directed international tax teams at boutique firms.

Ulises lends his technical insights to internal and external articles, and he has been featured in industry periodicals including Tax Magazine and Tax Management.

He speaks three languages– English, Spanish, and French.
